Pooja Singh

Pooja is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary studying convergence in conifer adaptation to climate and pathogens. She is broadly interested in the processes that underlie rapid adaptive evolution and speciation, as well as the genetic basis of complex adaptations. Pooja uses a combination of computational biology and molecular genetics approaches, and occasionally delves into ecology to investigate these issues. She has previously worked on Eucalyptus plantations in South Africa and adaptive radiation in cichlids from the East African Great Lakes.
