Next-Generation-Sequencing data, genetic variation and adaption analyses

Mengmeng is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. Her research on the Co-AdapTree Project focuses on designing exome capture experiments for several conifer species, analyzing RNAseq data, processing Next-Generation-Sequencing data to identify SNPs, and studying patterns in the population genetics of these data. She completed her Ph.D. at the Texas A&M University. Her past research has involved exome genotyping and identifying the genetic variants that correspond to the adaptive traits of loblolly pines.
